Reduced Hourly Rates

Simpson Millar offers a reduced hourly rate for any advice obtained within the first hour. Again, we will try to ensure that your case is allocated to an appropriate solicitor to ensure value for money. Details of our hourly rates in relation to each solicitor are available on request.


Legal Expense Insurance Arrangements

Were you aware that your home insurance could cover your legal fees?

Subject to an agreement with your insurer, Simpson Millar may be willing to represent you under the terms of your insurance policy. This is a useful way of reducing/eliminating your costs and an option that a number of employees are often unaware of. Fixed fee annual rates

We recognise that in some circumstances businesses may want to budget on an annual basis in respect of any legal fees. To accommodate this, we offer a fixed fee annual retainer service to those businesses that do require HR/employment law support on an ongoing basis. This service is flexible and can be tailored to suit the needs of your business.


Fixed fee options

For any work that your business requires on an ad hoc or ‘one off’ basis, Simpson Millar may be willing to offer fixed fee options. Examples here include directors’ service agreements, consultancy agreements or reviewing contracts of employment or employee handbooks.
