Director of HR
Helen joined Simpson Millar in December 2018 and has 16 years’ of experience in the HR sector.
As HR director, her role is to ensure that Simpson Millar creates the best possible environment for its people to thrive and be the best they can be.
Her team encourage a fair, honest and supportive culture, along with ensuring the right infrastructure is in place to recruit, develop and retain the best talent to support the ongoing growth and success of the company.
Helen’s key specialties include Human Resources Management, Organisational Change, Talent Acquisition and Development and Organisational Design and Effectiveness.
She studied Accounting & Finance at Leeds Metropolitan University, before going on to gain a PGDip in Personnel Development - a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Interests outside of work
Helen enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter and going to the theatre. She is currently taking flying lessons to achieve her Private Pilot’s Licence.
