Industrial Disease Paralegal

Alyce is a Paralegal in our Industrial Disease team, supporting Solicitors with their caseloads and helping clients throughout their claim.

This includes people claiming for Mesothelioma, Asbestosis, Work Related Cancer, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, Repetitive Strain Injury and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Her role involves drafting documents and undertaking administrative tasks, and is very empathetic towards the clients she works with every day.

Alyce particularly enjoys working closely with clients, as even though cases can be very emotional, helping them can be highly rewarding.

Career

Alyce has previous experience of working with noise induced hearing loss claims at her previous role, where she handled the client’s case and helped them recover compensation. She handled 150 cases in total in her previous role.

She graduated from University of Plymouth with a Law Degree and in 2021, she started her LPC part-time alongside her job so she can qualify as a Solicitor.

Interests outside of work

Outside of work, Alyce enjoys travelling, as well as seeing her nieces and nephews.
