Abuse Claims Solicitor
Really pleased with the service I received from Nathalie Swanwick, she goes beyond and above whats expected to keep you informed of the progress of your case and to fight for the best outcome. Keeps in regular contact and does not charge for every minute she talks to you like some greedy unscrupulous solicitors that are only in it for the money. Knows the law well and has a no nonsense approach would definitely use again.Sheila
Nathalie began her legal career in 2009 after completing her law degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2008. She has specialised in abuse claims since 2010, and went on to qualify as a Solicitor in 2013.
Following her qualification Nathalie specialised in a range of personal injury claims including abuse claims and criminal injury claims. She has acted for clients who have suffered life-changing injuries such as brain injuries.
Nathalie is passionate about representing survivors of abuse and returned to the abuse law team in 2018. She now solely fights for the rights of abuse survivors. Nathalie acts for clients bringing claims against public bodies including councils, schools, religious and charitable organisations, social services and claims directly against individuals.
She has acted on behalf of clients who were part of the second group action against Manchester City Council in respect of clients who suffered abuse in various Manchester homes.
Nathalie has gained more than five years’ experience in a firm that specialised in acting for clients to pursue claims for criminal injuries compensation. Notably Nathalie settled a criminal injuries case for child abuse for in excess of £400,000.
Nathalie has previously taken a very active role in volunteering for the Citizens Advice Bureau, Victim Support and North Manchester Hospital Radio including a charity bag pack.
