Supporting Charity Campaigns at Simpson Millar

We are proud to support a number of charities in their bid to make a difference in their communities.

We have a number of initiatives which we support including:

At Simpson Millar we respect and value the work that BRAKE carries out supporting devastated road crash victims and campaigning and educating to improve road safety.

Our partnership with BRAKE demonstrates our commitment in supporting their fundraising efforts and to the road safety cause.

Here are a few examples of how our staff across Simpson Millar’s 11 offices have supported BRAKE and similar charities to raise funds and much needed awareness of road safety.

BRAKE - Super Heroes Day

Simpson Millar’s staff showed their support for Brake’s Super Heroes Day by dressing up as their favourite superhero to help to spread the message of safe driving across the globe. Staff from across our 11 offices joined in on the day and posted their photos across social media platforms with the hashtag #RoadSafetySuperheroes.

Brain Injury Group’s Road Safety Week

Last year, we joined the Brain Injury Group in their support of Brake’s Road Safety Week. We presented certificates and prizes to the children of St. Paul and St. Timothy’s Infant School who entered a colouring competition along the theme of road safety. Our staff took part last year by dressing up in bright clothes and wigs!

As part of the GloWeek initiative CBIT hold their AGloHa event, of which Simpson Millar are sponsors. AgloHa is a fund raising club night which in 2019 was held at the Tropicana Beach Club in London. With the help of sponsors and those attending CBIT managed to raise in excess of £30,000!!!

Blood bike donation

We are proud to sponsor the BMW R1200RT supplied by Roddison Motorsport to White-knights Yorkshire Blood Bikes . Whiteknights is a blood bike charity which operates in Yorkshire. The group has sixty volunteer riders, all advanced motorcyclists, who deliver urgent samples outside normal National Health Service office hours every weekday.

As the bikes are traditionally named, the bike was named ‘Dave Fields ‘ after Police Constable Dave Fields of the South Yorkshire who tragically died whilst on duty on Christmas Day 2017 .

The bike will assist in delivering vital emergency supplies around Yorkshire and North of England .

Sheffield Children’s Hospital egg run

This annual event involves motorcyclists from all over Yorkshire who gather to ride up to Sheffield children’s hospital and make egg donations on Easter Sunday .

Marshalled by South Yorkshire Police this popular event, now known as Theo’s egg run can attract up to 2000 bikers . We are proud to show our support for this worthy cause by joining in as a sponsor.
