She has more than 12 years’ experience in the travel industry and during this time, she has been successful for many clients, including several group actions involving more than 700 claimants.

Sharon once achieved a settlement of £30,000 for a couple who were robbed from their hotel room at gunpoint. The claim was successful on the basis that the hotel had a duty to ensure their reasonable safety.
The case was complex as the defendants argued that the incident couldn’t have been foreseen, but following a rigorous trial, the Court found for the claimants.
Prior to joining Simpson Millar, she was employed by Pannone LLP (now Slater & Gordon), where she worked for over 10 years.

Interests outside of work
Sharon is a busy mum of two small children and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Other hobbies include taking holidays abroad and experiencing new and different cultures. She also enjoys cooking and has recently taken up virtual cookery classes and developed her skills during the Coronavirus pandemic.
