Ruxandra was a Paralegal in our Serious Injury team, before starting her Training Contract in October 2020.
As part of her training, she now assists the Holiday Claims department in providing advice and support to clients who suffered losses as a result of accidents abroad or breaches of contract.
Her role involves preparing court documents, researching case-law and procedure, liaising with clients, experts, foreign lawyers and witnesses, drafting statements and instructing counsel. She also contributes to the team’s business development.
Ruxandra has also gained extensive experience in domestic serious and catastrophic injury claims involving amputations and brain injuries during her time in the Serious Injury team where she assisted with multi-million pounds settlements.
Ruxandra graduated in 2017 with a 2:1 Honours degree in Law and Criminology from University of Sheffield and completed her LLM/Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2020 with Distinction.
She is due to qualify as a Solicitor in October 2022.
As a Romanian national, Ruxandra also offers support to fee earners with Romanian clients.
Interests outside of work
In her spare time, Ruxandra enjoys reading crime and mystery books, dancing, travelling and cooking.
