Rachel Solomon

Education and Community Care Paralegal

Rachel is a Paralegal in our Education and Community Care team, which is part of our Public Law department.

She works with Associate Solicitor Sarah Collier on her cases, which include Judicial Review cases and associated claims under the Human Rights Act 1998.

Rachel also acts on behalf of vulnerable individuals, particularly children and victims of trafficking.

She joined Simpson Millar as a Paralegal in September 2021, after earning a distinction in her Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at BPP University.

Rachel was awarded the Career Commitment Scholarship by BPP towards studying the PGDL, and volunteered with BPP’s Legal Advice Clinic as a Family Law advisor.

She also volunteered with BPP’s Streetlaw project, educating schoolchildren on the criminal justice system.

In 2019, she achieved a First Class degree in History at the University of Oxford, and in 2020, she graduated with an MPhil in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge.

Interests outside of work

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys volunteering, various types of sports and hiking.
