Nargis Haider is a Solicitor in our Family Law department, based in our Manchester office.
Professional Biography
Nargis was awarded her Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Law degree from Kingston University in Surrey in 2009. She then continued her legal studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she completed the Legal Practice Course in 2014, passing her final exams on the first attempt.
Since joining Simpson Millar in September 2015, Nargis has developed a broad legal background, initially working in Personal Injury Law and undertaking training seats in various legal fields, including Employment, Travel, Residential Conveyancing, Risk and Compliance, and Multi-Track Road Traffic Accidents. In August 2022, she achieved a significant milestone in her career by qualifying as a Solicitor. Shortly after, in January 2022, she transitioned to our Family Law department, where she applies her extensive legal knowledge and skills.
In her current role, Nargis manages her own caseload, which includes both agreed-upon and disputed financial settlements during separations, as well as overseeing divorce proceedings. She also supports senior team members with their cases, involving meetings with clients, third parties, and other Solicitors, liaising with counsel, and managing cases on online portals.
