As a Court of Protection Paralegal, Muhammad assists our Solicitors in representing clients in cases surrounding deprivation of liberty and best interest decisions for people lacking mental capacity.
Muhammad will always act for individuals in a way that ensures they’re provided with the best outcome. Since completing the Legal Practice Course in 2019, Muhammad has gone to gain a wide range of experience in several areas of law including Immigration and Disrepair Law.
Prior to joining Simpson Millar in December 2021, Muhammad had over two years’ experience of representing social housing tenants in tenancy disagreements, tenancy deposit claims and in cases where landlords were refusing to carry out repairs.
Muhammad also has strong knowledge of Asylum and Human Rights Law and the process of applying for Leave to Remain immigration status, having over four years’ experience in this area of law.
He has also worked for both Victim Support and Citizens Advice during his career.
Interests outside of work
In his spare time, Muhammad enjoys keeping fit, cooking and sports – he’s a huge Liverpool FC fan.
Muhammad also likes getting engaged within his local community, keeping up with the latest news to see if there’s any way he can donate his time in a positive way. This also gives him motivation to work harder in his professional role to make a real difference.
