Lisa Morris

Lisa initially joined Simpson Millar in 2019 as a Paralegal, and is now a Trainee Solicitor, currently supporting our Abuse team. Lisa supports the solicitors within the team working on civil claims against public bodies including schools, religious institutions and charitable organisations, as well as local authorities and the police. Lisa also assists with Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) claims from people who have been physically or mentally injured because they were a victim of a violent crime.

During her training contract, Lisa has worked with our Education Law team, where helped parents get the best solution for their child’s education in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Tribunal appeals.

She has also worked with our Public Law and Human Rights team, assisting with inquests and claims against public authorities.
