Child Protection Solicitor
Charlenne specialises in Child Protection and Family Law, including care proceedings, applications for Emergency Protection Orders, Special Guardianship Order proceedings and adoption proceedings.
She regularly represents parents and children in care proceedings and other matters related to child protection, clients in cases involving domestic violence allegations and drug and alcohol issues, and parents in private law cases, including child arrangement disputes.
Charlenne studied LLB Law at Brunel University and then went on to study LPC at the College of Law.
She has been representing clients in Court since 2010 and undertakes the majority of her own advocacy. She also acts on behalf of clients at hearings including case management hearings, issues resolution hearings, final hearings, contested hearings and advocates meetings.
Charlenne is a member of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme (Children Panel) and a member of Resolution.
Interests outside of work
Charlenne spends much of her free time undertaking voluntary roles, going to the theatre and attending comedy shows. She also enjoys spending time with her children, friends and family, and speaks fluent Lingala.
