After two years as a member of the DWF board, Anthony was invited to become Chief Executive Officer of Horwich Farrelly, and took the post in May 2009. In the following years, he oversaw large-scale change which included growth of the business’s turnover from c. £18 million to over £23 million.

In January 2014, Anthony formed Jackson Hughes Consulting, offering strategic consultancy advice to the legal, insurance and claims sectors.

He has been involved in a number of projects since including specific merger and acquisition activity. Anthony also had a portfolio of Non-Executive Director positions and is still Non-executive Chairman of ATE insurer Financial & Legal Insurance Limited.
