Partner, Personal Injury
Yvonne is a Solicitor in our Personal Injury team and specialises in accidents resulting from slips, trips and falls, including accidents at work. She also has a particular interest in handling personal injury claims for children and adults that have arisen in more unusual circumstances.
In these cases, liability is very often denied and they can therefore provide many challenges. However, Yvonne believes that when successful, they can be extremely rewarding and satisfying.
In one notable case, Yvonne obtained an award of £4.6 million for a child who suffered a brain injury, which has made a significant difference to his quality of life.
Yvonne also deals with Criminal Injury Claims, acting for innocent victims of violence which result in serious injuries. These claims include people injured in terrorist attacks such as the Manchester bombing and victims of historic abuse.
She is committed to going the extra mile for her clients to achieve the best possible outcome for them, and aims to make them feel at ease and supported throughout what is an extremely difficult time for them and their family.
Yvonne studied Law at John Moores University whilst working in a law firm as a Paralegal, before attending Chester College of Law to complete her Solicitors Final Examinations. She joined EAD Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor in 1991 and qualified two years later, before becoming a Partner in 2001.
Interests Outside of Work
Yvonne enjoys spending time with her family and escaping to Anglesey as often as possible.
