Thaminah is a Trainee Solicitor in our Employment Law department, supporting the head of the department and the rest of the team nationally.
She obtained her LLB Law degree from the University of Greenwich and went on to earn her Legal Practice Certificate and Masters at the University of Law. Whilst doing her LLB, she worked in the Greenwich legal advice centre, giving free employment law advice to those who were unable to afford it.
During and since her studies, Thaminah spent spells doing work experience for various law firms, including international business law specialists Fasken.
Thaminah joined Simpson Millar in January 2016 as a Paralegal in the General Personal Injury team, before moving to the Holiday Claims department for approximately 2 years, where she managed her own caseload.

Thaminah is a member of the Law Society's Junior Lawyers Division.
Interests outside of work
Thaminah enjoys oil painting, attending motivational talks and going to the gym. She organised a trip to Mount Snowdown to raise money for MIND mental health charity, and also set up a girl's secondary school in Bangladesh. She often visits the children at the school and sets up events with the local MP for the children and the local people.
