Lydia joined Simpson Millar in January 2019 as an Education Law Advisor and qualified as a Solicitor in the Public Law Team on February 1st 2019.
Previously, she spent three years working as a paralegal and then a trainee Solicitor, following several work experience placements in law firms specialising in Education law.
Lydia gained an undergraduate degree in law at Winchester University before studying for a post-graduate diploma in legal practice at the University of Law in Bristol.
Her main area of expertise is Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and she wrote her undergraduate dissertation on therapies in Statements of SEND. Lydia is also a member of the Law Society.
Interests outside of work
Lydia plays clarinet in a local wind band and also enjoys reading and countryside walks.
