Education Law Paralegal
Liam joined Simpson Millar in September 2016, after graduating from the University of Lancaster with both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law.
He has been with Simpson Millar for two years, and helps clients who are making appeals on behalf of their children to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Tribunal. He also assists with cases where parents want to challenge a failure by their Local Education Authority to carry out their obligations concerning a child’s education.
Liam has also trained in various areas of Community Care law and Judicial Reviews, and in representing clients at tribunal hearings.
His expertise is in numerous areas of Education Law, particularly appeals to the SEND Tribunal and Disability Discrimination.
Interests outside of work
Liam enjoys going to the theatre and live comedy shows, as well as following the trials and tribulations of AFC Bournemouth, his hometown football team.
