Personal Injury Solicitor
First time using Simpson Millar due to a accident at work and can honestly say I've had no problems at all! My solicitor (Jon Tinman) has been amazing from the get-go! I suffer from anxiety and phone calls are a big no-go for me, but I can honestly say Jon made calls or any contact so much easier and less scary for me! The updates and support have been amazing!. Would recommend Simpson and Millar all the way. So much easier and less stressful! And if you're lucky enough to get Jon Tinman as your solicitor even better! Thank you. Laura
Simpson Millar were very clear and helpful throughout the course of my claim. My solicitor Jon Tinman kept me updated and informed regularly. His professionalism and knowledge of my workplace was both impressive and reassuring. Very happy with settlement! Bill Mitchell
Jon heads up the teams in Manchester and Liverpool that handle Personal Injury cases for USDAW and UNITE members.
He has nearly 30 years’ experience in this area of law and has dealt with personal injury cases in the Courts and Employment Tribunals.
Jon has dealt with all types of employment and work-related injuries, including individual accidents and complex conditions such as neurological injuries, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome and Noise Induced Hearing Loss.
He is proud of his record of helping union members recover compensation for an Accident at Work and occupational conditions and diseases throughout his career, and recognises that each case presents its own unique challenges.
Jon recently recovered a six-figure amount of compensation for a client who had suffered a serious Head Injury in an accident at work where there was no direct witness evidence about the incident, and the client had no recollection of what happened due to severe memory loss related to his injuries. To succeed, Jon had to carry out a painstaking and thorough investigation to steadily construct a winning case from secondary sources of evidence.
