Farah Naz

Family Law Solicitor

Farah is a Family Solicitor, who specialises in all aspects of private family law. She has lots of experience in handling divorce and medium to high-net worth financial proceedings which involve international assets.

She also helps clients with the dissolution of civil partnerships, separations, disputes relating to children, including claims under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 and disputes between cohabitees.

Farah has a vast amount of experience in preparing cohabitation agreements, pre and post nuptial agreements and can assist clients in injunctive proceedings.

She is known for her ability to provide honest, professional and cost-effective advice whilst at the same time being empathetic to her clients’ emotions and needs.

Farah was recognised as being a ‘Rising Star’ by the Legal 500 in 2020 - an achievement she is extremely proud of.

One notable success for Farah was when she successfully represented a wife in her divorce and financial proceedings with a total value of £6 million.

Farah was pleased that a final order in favour of the wife was obtained, particularly as her husband had sought to waste time and costs due to his lack of financial non-disclosure. This led to difficulties both with establishing what assets he owned overseas and in determining what their actual value was.

Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Farah graduated from the Queen Mary University of London with an LLB Law degree, and completed her Legal Practice Course at the now University of Law, Bloomsbury.
