Deborah qualified as a Solicitor in 1996. She joined Simpson Millar in 2016 when they merged with Abney Garsden Solicitors, where she had worked representing victims of abuse since 1999.

Deborah specialises in helping clients in their fight for fair compensation for abuse or neglect. She helps clients bring Abuse claims against individuals, social services, care homes and employers and advises them how to apply for compensation for abuse through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.

She has acted as lead Solicitor in a number of successful high profile group action cases and represented hundreds of clients, both adults and children. Deborah has obtained the maximum award for her clients on a number of Criminal Injuries Compensation claims. Deborah was the 1st Solicitor in the country to obtain a Group Litigation Order for a group action.

Deborah is a member of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
