Education and Community Care Solicitor
Daniel first joined Simpson Millar (in the former business of Colemans-ctts) in 2010, and returned to the company in April 2016 after completing a training contract with Hudgell Solicitors in Leeds.
Daniel gained an LLB (Hons) Law degree from Queens University, Belfast in 2005.
His work has included supporting children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in securing appropriate education provision and/or placement, home-to-school transport, schools admissions and exclusions, securing suitable education for children out of school, and Judicial Review matters.
He also handles Community Care Law cases in instances of social services or a healthcare provider delaying or refusing assessments of need, inadequate assessments of need, denying access to the required care or accommodation, disputes over an individual’s required levels or type of service, and in instances where services have been incorrectly withdrawn.
Daniel is a member of the Lawyers’ Secular Society.

Daniel is a long-suffering Blackburn Rovers supporter.
