Catherine is a Solicitor in our Public Law and Human Rights team.

She specialises in bringing judicial review challenges against local and central government on behalf of victims of trafficking, vulnerable adults, unaccompanied minors and young people who have experienced the care system.

Prior to joining Simpson Millar in September 2022, she worked for a leading international law firm, practising in their corporate litigation, white collar crime and fraud team. During that time, she built a diverse pro bono caseload representing survivors of trafficking, domestic abuse, gender-based violence and terrorist attacks.

Catherine has a law degree from the University of Cambridge and, during her studies, chaired the university’s Amnesty International society and volunteered with the Innocence Project, working to help victims of miscarriages of justice clear their names.
