Caroline Fox

Partner, Serious Injury Claims

Case Studies

Caroline specialises in serious injury claims, including brain damage and head injuries, amputations and spinal cord injuries.

Career

Caroline joined Simpson Millar in July 2017, having previously worked at a large national law firm.

Caroline has been recognised as a Rising Star in the Legal 500 2020 and 2021 editions for her work in Personal Injury, in particular representing people who are the most seriously injured.

In 2020 alone, she secured damages for her clients in the region of £7.5 million.

Caroline works hard to ensure that where possible, those in need secure immediate financial support by way of interim payments. Implementing an appropriate care and rehabilitation package is essential to maintain a quality of life that needn’t be interrupted because of an accident.

She has fostered good relationships with other members of a multi-disciplinary team, including medical experts, Case Managers, Financial Deputies, Support Workers and Therapists.

Caroline takes her time to get to know her clients and their families so that she can consider their individual wishes and needs.

She makes herself available to her clients throughout their legal proceedings, providing them with peace of mind, and fulfilling her own passion for representing people who have been through traumatic experiences.

In 2001, she gained an Honours degree in Law from Staffordshire University, then in 2003 undertook her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester.

Interests outside of work

Caroline enjoys reading, and spending time with family and friends.
