Paralegal, Education and Children's Rights

Career

Ama joined Simpson Millar as a Paralegal in our Education and Children’s Rights Team in December 2021.  She works in the London office and supports Dan Rosenberg and the team with a wide range of education, community care, and other public law matters.  She has a particular interest in school exclusions and judicial reviews.

Before joining Simpson Millar, Ama volunteered at the Greater Manchester Law Centre as an Initial Enquiries Volunteer. While at law school Ama was a student director of its Human Rights Unit, as well as working as a student assistant with its Streetlaw Project and employment advice line.

Ama graduated with a first-class degree with distinction in Modern History and Russian from the University of St Andrews, and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (Distinction) from BPP University Law School.

Outside of Work

Along with acquainting herself with London life, Ama remains a member of the Youth Forum for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
