Aisha Ashraf is a Solicitor in our Serious Injury department, based in our Manchester office.

Professional Biography

Aisha completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Bradford in 2012 and went on to achieve her Master of Laws (LLM) and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, graduating in 2014. She was admitted as a Solicitor in November 2022.

In her daily role, Aisha assists on complex litigated and catastrophic injury claims involving fatal cases, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and various other life-changing accidents. She supports Matthew Clayton in managing a caseload of catastrophic claims and conducts thorough legal research and analysis to strengthen cases. Aisha collaborates closely with other team members and external experts, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each case.

Her responsibilities include reviewing a wide range of records such as case management documentation, medical records, social service records, employment records, and treatment records. She takes and drafts witness statements, instructions to counsel, and court documentation. Aisha also prepares applications, directions, and court bundles, and is involved in preparing for and attending Cost and Case Management Conferences (CMCC) and trials.

Aisha attends consultations with clients, experts, and Counsel, as well as Joint Settlement Meetings, CMCC, and trials. She liaises with third-party suppliers to ensure all aspects of the cases are managed effectively.
