Professional Biography
Mark began his career in the legal field as a paralegal in 1996 before transitioning to a trainee role from 1996 to 1998. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998, following his academic accomplishments, which include a BSc Hons in Geography & Economics from Coventry University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the same institution. Mark further developed his skills by completing the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. His progressive experience includes roles as a Solicitor from 1998 to 2006, Associate from 2006 to 2008, Partner from 2008 to 2010, and Equity Partner from 2010 to 2016. Currently, he holds the position of Partner at Simpson Millar.
In his role at Simpson Millar, Mark spends his days supporting victims of serious or catastrophic accidents, ensuring they get the appropriate levels of compensation they rightly deserve. He walks his clients and their families through the entire legal process, making sure they understand each step. Mark also collaborates with medical professionals to get detailed reports about the client's injuries, and manages negotiations with defendant’s insurance companies. If negotiations don't get the satisfactory results his clients were hoping for, he moves matters to Court to fight for the rightful recovery of his clients' losses.
Over the years, Mark has gained a wealth of experience throughout working different cases. Until 2016, he specialised in supporting motorcyclists involved in serious accidents or helping families grieving the loss of a loved one in tragic motorbike accidents. Post-2016, Mark expanded his scope to cover a broader range of personal injury cases and even some medical negligence claims.
