Senior Associate Solicitor
Marion is a Child Care Solicitor based in Manchester, who represents parents, other family members and children (on instruction by the Children’s Guardian, in care proceedings).
She also advises on Children Act matters, child protection issues and issues concerning Special Guardianship orders.
Other areas of expertise include advising on pre-proceedings matters and representing parents in private law Children Act cases.
Marion conducts most of her own advocacy to make sure there is a continuity of representation in Court.
She also has much experience of representing people from different cultures and ethnicities, and using interpreters to make sure there is good communication with her clients if their first language is not English.
Marion has many years’ experience in this area of law and qualified as a Solicitor in November 2000.

Interests outside of work
In her spare time, Marion enjoys exercising outdoors, whatever the weather, and going for long walks with her dog.
She’s also a keen cook, in particular Spanish food, and likes spending time with family and friends.
