Professional Biography
Emma's journey into the legal field began at the University of Liverpool, where she studied Law (LLB) and graduated with a first-class degree in 2022.
Since joining Simpson Millar in November 2022, Emma has quickly become an integral part of the Industrial Disease team. Her day-to-day responsibilities include meticulously reviewing medical records and legal documents, which are vital for building a strong case for our clients. Emma also takes detailed statements from clients, requests necessary records, and maintains open communication with clients to keep them updated on their case progress. Additionally, Emma's role involves preparing court documents and organising bundles for Counsel, ensuring that all case materials are carefully compiled and accessible.
Emma's decision to pursue a career in law was driven by a profound desire to make a meaningful impact in society. Her interest in the legal system was sparked during her A-Level studies, captivated by the complex and dynamic nature of the legal system. Emma finds the uniqueness of each case, with its unique challenges and opportunities to make a real difference, to be particularly engaging, making her daily work both rewarding and fulfilling.
