Have you been made redundant because Pure Planet has stopped trading?

If so, you could make a Protective Award Claim as long as you meet the criteria below:

    1. 20 or more staff were made redundant from the same location
    2. You weren’t given the right consultation on your redundancy by Pure Planet

Because Pure Planet in Bath ceased trading quickly, they almost certainly did not consult with you properly.

We can take on your claim on a No Win, No Fee basis, so you won’t have to pay any money upfront, and you’ll only pay us if your claim is successful.

You don’t have to have a minimum length of service either – everyone who has lost their job can claim as long as you meet the criteria above.

What Is A Protective Award?

It’s simply a payment made by the Insolvency Service to staff who were made redundant without their employer follow the correct consultation process for redundancy.

You’ll need to get an Employment Tribunal to rule that Pure Planet did not follow the correct redundancy process and then you can make a Protective Award Claim.

Our specialist Employment Law Solicitors are experts in Protective Award Claims and can help you with the process.

Protective Award Time Limits

You only have 3 months, minus one day, to make a Protective Award Claim so time is short. Checking you are eligible to make a claim and starting the process quickly is very important to make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to claim £4,352.

We can make sure your claim is submitted in time, along with your colleagues so you can make a group claim. This will cut down on work for you and the people you worked with.

What About Outstanding Pay?

The administrators for Pure Planet should be in touch with you about any outstanding pay, including redundancy pay if you’re eligible, holiday pay and pay in lieu of your notice period.

Making a Protective Award Claim will not affect your entitlement to any of the pay owed to you.
