Georgina Emsley

Georgina is a Solicitor who works in our Medical Negligence team here at Simpson Millar, based in our Manchester office.

She works on a variety of Medical Negligence claims to help people achieve the compensation, justice and support they deserve after experiencing substandard medical care. Georgina is a committed and highly reliable Solicitor with a track record of supporting clients through the process of making a claim to achieve the best outcome for them. Georgina has experience working on many high-value cases with a range of circumstances and complexities from start to finish, where she reviews medical records, liaises with experts and gathers evidence in order to negotiate the best possible settlement for her clients.

Georgina joined Simpson Millar in May 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from a number of law firms including JF Law, Price Slater Gawne Solicitors, The Roland Partnership and High Street Solicitors. She has 7 years’ experience working on Medical Negligence cases, with a particular interest in cancer and obstetrics. She also has 3 years’ experience working on Personal Injury cases and has also worked within Court of Protection and Probate Law.

During her time studying Law at university, Georgina broadened her legal knowledge and was challenged to delve into an array of legal fields through a voluntary role as a Legal Ambassador for Law Help Online. As part of this role, she created legal presentations and acted as a legal consultant for less experienced Law students.
