Driver with Whiplash Awarded Compensation Following Leeds 'Shunt'
A young administrator whose car was struck by another
has been awarded compensation following hospital treatment for whiplash
As the woman drove along Station Road in Leeds, the car in front braked sharply
, causing her to apply her own brakes.
'Shunt' Caused Damage and Injury
As a result of this the vehicle behind failed to slow down in time and 'shunted' the administrator's car
. The 26 year-old was treated for whiplash-type injuries at St James' Hospital and she was recommended physiotherapy

"Driving behind, and despite the fact that it was a dry and sunny day, the following vehicle failed to observe the path, position, approach and speed of the car
