Career:

After graduating in Belfast Patrick spent a year working for a leading Global Drinks Company. Patrick completed his LPC at the College of Law in Chester in 2002 and undertook his training contract working for a Criminal Legal Aid firm. Patrick was admitted to the roll as a Solicitor in in 2005 and in 2013 qualified as a Accredited Commercial and Civil Mediator. He joined Simpson Millar LLP (formerly Colemans CTTS) in April 2014 working initially in the GPI team before moving to the Motoring Offences Department. He regularly attends police stations and Magistrates Courts to represent clients for Motoring Offences.

He has successfully represented a large number of clients whom have been prosecuted for taking their children on holidays during term time. He is regularly consulted by the media and has been quoted in numerous national papers including The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times, and The Express.

Interests:

When not working Patrick’s hobbies include travelling, playing squash and football. He also volunteers for a local charity called Smile Mediation.
