Jonathan started working at Simpson Millar within the Leeds Postroom in November 1999. He then moved into the IT Department in October 2003 where he worked as a 1st and 2nd Line IT Technician. In July 2007, Jonathan was promoted to the role of Assistant IT Manager. Then in January 2015, he began his new role as Head of IT Support for the FairPoint Group.
Jonathan is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Solutions Associate. He specialises in all Windows Operating Systems both on a Desktop and Server level. He has an extensive knowledge of Microsoft office, Active Directory, Exchange Management, Group Policy and Avaya Phone Systems and has worked with these on a daily basis for a number of years. Jonathan is experienced in ITIL and delivering IT Services in line with these principles. The IT Helpdesk function and the process around this is now his main focus as he is responsible for delivering a unified IT Support Function to the FairPoint Group.
Jonathan has a keen interest in football and follows Leeds United home and away. He enjoys travelling to different parts of the world and has a long-standing interest in music, films and video games.
