  • "It has been a great experience work with Bethany Parr and Shea Kelly from the start to end they work tirelessly to get my son a school placement in a Sen school. I can’t thank them enough. I was emotionally exhausted from trying to communicate with the LA but they help me with everything. Beth and Shea would explain everything to me and update me about anything. I love the way they care about my problems like it was their own. I just want to thank you both for being there for us and for helping me throughout this process that wasn’t easy but you did it. Thank you so much."

  • "Excellent Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) advice and representation on multiple occasions over a 10 year period. We first approached Simpson Millar in 2014 in need of advice and representation for our son's Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) and secondary school placement. The advice and representation we received then and subsequently in 2018 and 2023/24 has been excellent. They worked diligently with us to clarify the grounds for the appeals, and develop the case for our appeals. They always explained their services clearly including fees and when relevant, the criteria and scope for legal aid. I found relevant members of their family law / SEND team both proactive and responsive in managing the communications necessary for the appeals."

  • "After over 1 year fighting with the LA to provide the correct School for my daughter and to provide her with what she needs to have a successful education and having to take them to the Tribunal. My Solicitor, Shea Kelly, has been amazing. She was very informative and everything was explained clearly, very easy to contact. She made great effort to gain specialist reports for my child. And made the whole process a lot less stressful for me. And I sincerely doubt I would of got this far without her. Thanks to her and her team we won the case. She is a great reflection of the company. Both myself and my daughter are very happy clients."
