Martina Boyle is a Legal Executive within our Military Claims team. She is based in Manchester.

Professional biography

Throughout her career, Martina has predominantly specialised in industrial disease claims, representing individuals affected by conditions caused through their work or long-term exposure to harmful environments. Her experience includes claims involving deafness and tinnitus, asbestos-related illnesses, and Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), a condition caused by prolonged use of vibrating tools or machinery. She has also worked within road traffic accident claims, supporting injured clients through the compensation process.

Before joining Simpson Millar in August 2024, Martina worked at a number of law firms, building significant experience across personal injury and industrial disease litigation. Her long-standing background in these areas has given her a strong understanding of the physical, emotional, and financial impact injuries and illnesses can have on individuals and their families.

In her day-to-day role, Martina works within the Military Claims team, supporting both serving military personnel and veterans across a wide range of claims. Her work includes cases involving military deafness and tinnitus, medical negligence, bullying and harassment, Non-Freezing Cold Injuries (NFCI), and training accident claims.

Martina assists clients throughout the claims process, helping them understand their legal options and ensuring they feel supported whilst pursuing compensation and accountability for the harm they have suffered.
