Elle Gauld
Solicitor, Public Law and Human Rights
London

Elle is a Solicitor and supports our Public Law and Human Rights and Abuse teams, which includes assisting on claims against public authorities.
Elle finished the Legal Practice Course (Distinction) in 2021 and has completed her training at Simpson Millar, qualifying as a Solicitor in October 2023.
Before joining Simpson Millar, Elle studied classics at Oxford and graduated in 2015. She then undertook some criminal work experience before working as a Paralegal in an offshore banking and trust firm in 2015-16.
While studying for the postgraduate law conversion course part-time in London, Elle joined a number of pro bono projects. This included working alongside a clinical psychologist specialising in work with victims of trafficking and domestic abuse.
Through these experiences, Elle found an interest in community care and public law which led her to joining Simpson Millar as a Paralegal in September 2018.
Interests Outside of Work
Elle enjoys travel, whether it’s for hiking trips, city breaks or just about any other combination of culture, food and adventure.
When at home, Elle enjoys dance, martial arts and music, and is looking forward to one day having at least two dogs if not several!
