Career
Aimee joined Simpson Millar in September 2015 as a Paralegal. She qualified as a Solicitor on 1 April 2020 into the Public Law team, working on Claims Against Public Authorities.
Her caseload covers a range of Human Rights Act damages claim.
She also manages a Court of Protection caseload focusing on challenges against deprivation of liberty and best interests for personal welfare proceedings.
Aimee studied at UCL, graduating with a First Class Law degree in June 2015, and joined Simpson Millar soon afterwards. During her studies, she worked in the UCL’s rights and advice centre, and volunteered with Just For Kids Law, an organisation dedicated to upholding children’s legal rights.
Interests outside of work
Aimee enjoys long-distance running, is (slowly) learning to knit, and is an enthusiastic dog lover.
