Jacob is a Paralegal in our Abuse team and is based in Manchester.
In Abuse matters, Jacob supports solicitors within the team working on civil claims against public bodies including schools, religious institutions and charitable organisations, local authorities and the police.
Jacob also works on civil claims being brought directly against individuals and regularly assists with Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) claims from people who have been physically or mentally injured because they were a victim of a violent crime.
Graduating with a First-Class law degree from Lancaster University in 2021, Jacob has previously worked as a Legal Assistant within the area of Personal Injury law. His main responsibilities were to assist on road traffic accident, public liability and employer’s liability matters.
Outside of Work
In his free time, Jacob has volunteered with Citizens Advice for over three years and was also involved in Lancaster University’s Law Clinic where he provided free legal advice for people in the local community.
Jacob enjoys outdoor activities like cycling and going for walks in the countryside with his friends. He also has an interest in travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures, as well as spending time with his family.
