Industrial Disease Claims Solicitor
Anthony joined Simpson Millar as a Paralegal in 2006, and has spent his entire legal career with the firm.
He completed his training contract in 2009, working in the firm’s Industrial Disease, Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury departments.
As a trainee he was nominated for the Law Society Young Pro-bono Lawyer of the Year award for his work in setting up a local Law Centre.
On his qualification as a Solicitor, Anthony joined the firm’s Personal Injury department, initially dealing with all types of Personal Injury claims, including claims for high-value brain and physical injuries.
After spending four years in the Personal Injury department, Anthony went on to specialise in a wide range of Industrial Disease claims, including Asbestos related illnesses, Work related Cancers, Lung Diseases such as Occupational Asthma, COPD and Pneumoconiosis, Dermatitis, Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome, Vibration White Finger, and Repetitive Strain injuries.
Anthony became an Associate and Head of the Industrial Disease department in the Manchester office, and now specialises in higher value Industrial Disease claims.
Anthony is a member of the Law Society and Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Interests outside of work
Anthony enjoys spending time with his young family and is an enthusiastic scuba diver with the British Sub Aqua Club pursuing his hobby across the UK and worldwide.
