Saskia Coles

Saskia is a Paralegal in our Care Proceedings team, who helps Associate Solicitor Lidia Foster with her caseload.

This involves dealing with parents in childcare proceedings when their Local Authority has become involved in their family life.

Sakia takes a pragmatic approach to dealing with clients, making sure she uses straightforward language that they understand as their case proceeds.

This, she says, means they are not left confused by the legal process and can get the most out of their time with Simpson Millar.

She finds the work she does hugely rewarding, especially as she can see how important it is to the clients themselves.

Saskia joined Simpson Millar after gaining her LPC qualification in July 2021, and gaining a Distinction in her Master’s degree at the University of Bristol.

During her time at university, she volunteered at the institution’s law clinic for two years.
