Professional Biography

Paige first studied at Winstanley College and achieved A*AA, before going on to complete a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Manchester, where she graduated with a 2:1.

During her time at university, Paige was a committee member of the Manchester University Law Society, where she helped to plan and deliver inclusive and engaging events for students. She also volunteered at the University of Manchester Legal Advice Centre, where she supported vulnerable clients with a range of legal and wellbeing-related issues. Alongside this, she co-hosted a mental health podcast aimed at opening up conversations around topics that are often left unspoken. This experience gave her early exposure to working with individuals facing difficult circumstances and strengthened her ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.

In her day-to-day role, Paige supports solicitors at every stage of a case. This includes reviewing records, drafting applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA), liaising with clients, and instructing barristers. She plays an important role in progressing cases efficiently whilst ensuring clients feel supported throughout the process.

Case Studies / Notable Case

Paige assisted on a case involving a client who experienced sexual abuse as an adult in the workplace by an individual in a position of trust. The impact on the client’s life was significant and long-lasting. Whilst compensation cannot undo the harm caused, the outcome of the case provided the client with access to rehabilitation and support, helping her to begin rebuilding her life.

A key priority for the client was achieving accountability from the organisation involved. The settlement reached provided important recognition of her experience. Cases such as this highlight the importance of creating a safe space for survivors to come forward. Many individuals affected by abuse experience feelings of shame or embarrassment, often as a result of the actions of those responsible. It is important that survivors feel supported in seeking help and are reassured that they will be listened to and taken seriously.

Paige chose a career in law from a young age, driven by a strong sense of justice and a desire to support those who have been wronged. She is particularly committed to working in abuse law, supporting individuals who have experienced deeply personal and often traumatic events. Paige is motivated by helping clients feel heard and supported, and by assisting them in seeking accountability and justice. She is dedicated to raising awareness of these issues and helping survivors take steps towards rebuilding their lives.
