Professional Biography
Mohammad graduated from the University of Salford in 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons). During his studies, he was elected as a Student Representative, helping to reflect the views and concerns of his peers and building strong communication and advocacy skills. Shortly after completing his law degree, Mohammad undertook a mini pupillage at Kenworthy’s Chambers, a well-established set of Barristers’ chambers in Manchester. A mini pupillage is a short period of work experience that gives aspiring Lawyers an insight into the work of a Barrister. During this time, Mohammad shadowed Barristers across a range of legal hearings at the Manchester Civil Justice Centre, Crown Square, Minshull Street Crown Court and the Immigration Tribunal. He observed proceedings in areas such as civil law, family law, immigration and criminal law, and gained a deeper understanding of case strategy, courtroom advocacy and the different legal roles within the justice system.
Mohammad began his legal career in 2018, working as a Litigation Assistant and later as a Litigation Executive, where he developed his knowledge of Personal Injury and legal procedure. He went on to gain experience as an RTA Litigator, handling claims on behalf of individuals injured in road traffic incidents. Over the years, he has built a strong foundation in client care, case preparation, and legal drafting.
In 2021, Mohammad began working in Clinical Negligence, helping people who had experienced avoidable harm because of poor medical treatment or medical mistakes. He worked closely with clients to understand what had gone wrong in their care, reviewing medical records in detail, preparing clear witness statements, and supporting them through each step of the legal process. This experience helped him develop both his legal knowledge and his ability to provide practical, sensitive support during what can be a very difficult time.
In early 2025, Mohammad joined Simpson Millar’s Medical Negligence department, where he now assists with a variety of claims involving delays in treatment, surgical errors, and other failures in care. He works closely with Solicitors on the team to review medical records, analyse expert evidence, and support clients throughout their legal journey. Mohammad plays a key part in progressing Clinical Negligence claims from the early stages through to settlement or trial. He drafts legal documents including letters of claim and instructions to counsel, and helps prepare court bundles. He also liaises with medical experts and clients, ensuring every case is managed efficiently and with care.
With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to client service, Mohammad supports individuals through what can be a distressing and complex legal process. He helps to ensure deadlines are met and that each case progresses in line with legal procedures.
Mohammad chose to pursue a career in law because of a strong desire to help others and make a meaningful impact. He is particularly passionate about Clinical Negligence work, where he believes the law plays an important role in securing justice for people affected by medical mistakes.
He is motivated by the human side of legal work and is driven by the belief that everyone deserves to be treated fairly and to have their voice heard. For Mohammad, supporting clients during difficult periods in their lives and helping them achieve a sense of clarity and accountability is at the heart of why he works in law.
