Eve French

Public Law Paralegal

Eve is a Paralegal in our Public Law and Community Care department, helping Senior Associate Solicitor Silvia Nicolaou Garcia with her caseload.

Her main areas of practice include public law, human rights and community care cases, and she has particular expertise in judicial review challenges on behalf of trafficked individuals and vulnerable adults.

Career

Eve studied Classics at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, and graduated in 2019. She then studied the LLM Law Conversion at BPP University, graduating with a distinction in 2020.

Eve was awarded the Dean of the Law School full-fee scholarship from BPP University in 2019, and volunteered at BPP’s Legal Advice Clinic in 2019-2020 as a housing law advisor.

She also volunteered for the non-profit Criminal defence firm ‘Commons’ between 2019 and 2020 as a Court observer and contributed to their study on the impact of defendants stating their nationality on the fairness of criminal proceedings.

Interests outside of work

In her spare time, Eve enjoys playing the piano, running, musical theatre and baking.
