Professional Biography
Elizabeth secured an Upper Second Class with Honours Degree in International Politics from King’s College London in 2016. Further showcasing her commitment to personal growth, she achieved the Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in 2012, a clear testament to her drive and dedication.
She’s actively advancing her legal career as she progresses through her CILEx: Trainee CILEX Paralegal, which she started in September 2022. Elizabeth has also been accepted into our Solicitor Graduate Apprenticeship programme and will be starting her training in January 2024.
In her day-to-day role, Elizabeth manages Clinical Negligence claims, some reaching settlements of up to £250,000, from start to settlement, both pre and post-court proceedings initiation.
Elizabeth handles initial introduction calls with new clients and explains their cases by looking at medical notes. She determines if they have a strong case and also studies reports from experts. Using this information, she writes important papers, such as witness statements. If there are any issues, she provides answers or finds more evidence. She also advises clients on what they might receive if they win. To get the best results, Elizabeth discusses matters with the other side, and if they can't find an agreement, she prepares the cases to go to trial.
Elizabeth’s legal knowledge is diverse and extensive. She has represented patients and families across a wide range of claims: from delayed diagnoses of cancer and birth injury claims to substandard radiology performance or reporting, neonatal and stillbirth deaths, prescription errors, amputations, sepsis and infection, surgery errors, and dental negligence cases. Since joining our team in 2018, she has become an invaluable asset, focusing her deep knowledge on clinical negligence.

Her portfolio is filled with significant successes. She has played a key role in achieving noteworthy settlements for families affected by medical errors. Her victories include securing a 6 figure settlements for Mothers whose children were sadly stillborn as a consequence of negligence and securing liability admissions and apologies in very sensitive fatal claims.
She successfully recovered damages for a family after the loss of their accommodation benefits, even when the Defendant challenged its validity. Elizabeth also secured a six-figure settlement and full liability admission for a family whose loved one experienced an avoidable amputation, affecting his last two years of life.
