Assistant to the Head of Public Law
Dan joined Simpson Millar in 2016 as an Education Law Advisor, running SEND Tribunal appeals and advising parents and young people on issues relating to Education and Community Care.
In 2019, Dan began a new role acting as an assistant to the Head of Public Law, maintaining a small caseload and assisting with the Head of Public Law’s cases, as well as internal business operations.
Dan now continues to deal with SEND Tribunal appeals and legal challenges against public bodies and assists Imogen Jolley with her cases of a similar nature.
Dan graduated from Northumbria University in 2016 with a Law LLB (Hons) degree, focusing on family, employment and company law.
Interests outside of work
Dan is a big fan of football and has supported Liverpool FC for over 20 years. He enjoys cooking, eating out in restaurants and is a keen squash player.
