What does Elizabeth do? – Elizabeth works in our Public Law team, mainly assisting Silvia Nicolaou Garcia with cases involving trafficked individuals, vulnerable adults and unaccompanied minors.
Experience – Elizabeth joined Simpson Millar as a Public Law Paralegal in September 2017, after working as a Crown Court Litigator at a national criminal law firm. She has also volunteered at the Islington Law Centre and for various NGOs, including the Prisoners’ Advice Service and the Anti Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class Honours degree in English Literature and American Studies in 2013. She subsequently undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2014, and is currently studying the LLM in Legal Practice at BPP University.
Outside of work – Elizabeth volunteers with a company that organises performances for youth dance groups across Southern England. She also enjoys painting and going to the theatre.
