Professional Biography

Lisa graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons). Since completing her legal studies, she has developed a well-rounded understanding of the law by working across a range of areas, including Immigration Law, Family Law and Dispute Resolution. This varied background has strengthened her ability to support individuals with empathy and professionalism, particularly those going through difficult and emotionally challenging circumstances.

Lisa joined Simpson Millar in November 2022 to focus on Personal Injury law and now works within our specialist team handling Road Traffic Accidents claims. She supports individuals and families affected by serious and life-changing injuries, helping to ensure that every aspect of their case is carefully managed from the early stages through to resolution. Lisa plays an essential part in the legal process, working closely with Solicitors and senior colleagues to prepare cases thoroughly and keep clients informed throughout.

Her day-to-day role involves requesting important documentation, such as medical records, police reports, employment history, benefit information and, where necessary, reports from the Coroner or the Health and Safety Executive. Lisa assists in reviewing expert medical evidence, drafting legal correspondence, preparing financial loss calculations, and creating document bundles for court or Counsel. She also communicates regularly with clients to provide updates, respond to questions, and help them understand what to expect at each stage of their case.
