Simpson Millar formed in the 1850s and has a long history of acting for individuals,
businesses and trade unions. We have been acting for the CWU (Communications Workers
Union) since the 1920s and they are a long standing respected client of the firm.
Simpson Millar became Simpson Millar LLP in December 2005.

Yes - we have taken many claims to trial, however, some claims do get settled out of court and all our lawyer's have the appropriate experience to be able to deal with your case appropriately.

We will always inform you at the outset of a consultation of any costs involved.
Q: Are all claims run on a "no win no fee" basis?
Not all claims can be run on a "no win no fee" basis and we will advise you at the
outset of the best way to fund your claim.
Q: Do I need special insurance to cover costs should I be unsuccessful?
In some cases you can be liable for the successful parties costs and we will advise
you at the beginning of your claim if we feel it is appropriate for you to take
out an insurance policy.
