In 2010, our client, Mr Sabine, was visiting a friend at her property when he sustained a personal injury caused by a dangerous dog.
Mr Sabine was attacked in the grounds of a driveway shared by his friend and the keepers of the dog that had attacked him. The dog had a previous history of aggression.
Mr Sabine sustained puncture wounds to his left calf, bruising and bleeding which has resulted in scarring. He also had to post-pone a knee replacement operation that was scheduled because of the injuries.
Despite opposition from the defendants at the beginning of the claim, the matter was settled amicably without having to issue court proceedings. £2,500 in dog bite compensation was awarded to Mr Sabine.
Nagam Din, Personal Injury Claims Solicitor, worked on Mr Sabine’s case. When asked about his case Mr Sabine said "Many thanks Nagam, your patience and persistence produced a truly excellent result".
