Career:

Lisa joined Simpson Millar LLP upon qualifying as a solicitor in November 2007 after completing her training under Neil Fearn, head of the medical negligence team at the firm. She was promoted in July 2012 to an Associate and became a Partner in May 2015.

Lisa has experience in a wide range of both medical and dental negligence claims and particularly enjoys assisting parents in claims on behalf of children including Erbs' Palsy and Hip Dysplacia claims.

Quoted in Chambers and Partners 2017 as follows: New partner Lisa Swales has recent experience in child brain injury cases.
